Concept Design
Abandoned for nearly five years, the surrounding landscape has begun to reclaim the existing house and site forcing a complete tear down and rebuild. The design of the new residence focuses on views that cut through the overgrown landscape, framing and overlooking the marshlands and north woods. The connection to nature is principal. However, the social aspect is also a priority as the client has old ties to the neighborhood. The entryway and street side of the house is to maintain an inviting relationship to the neighborhood this client has grown to love.
